Jewellery Recap: 2023 ARIA Awards

A night dedicated to the Australian music industry; the ARIAs (Australia Record Industry Association) was held last night in Sydney. The biggest night on the calendar for Australian musicians, it is a night that advocates the nation’s music industry, awarding some of the best artists in the country.

Many of Australia’s favourite stars hit the red carpet, donning ensembles that would rival those of Hollywood. In addition to some inspiring designs, there was also an array of notable jewellery designs sported at the event.

As one of the most important annual award shows, the ARIA Awards red carpet provides some of the best fashion year in, year out.

The most memorable necklaces

Necklaces are a powerful accessory and the perfect way to break up a neck-heavy outfit or an exposed decolletage.

Missy Higgins looked utterly cool as she hit the red carpet in a stunning blue maxi dress. The long-sleeve design was a pool of blue tones, which Higgins tastefully broke up with a necklace. The Australian singer went for a simple chain and love heart pendant, providing a touch of sparkle without stealing the spotlight from the dress.

Charley looked undeniably stylish in her edgy three-piece ensemble. The breakthrough artist nominee went for a Clueless-esque plaid outfit, channelling her in Cher. Matching the detailing in her cropped jacket, the singer went for a statement necklace putting on a punk-rock chain and white diamond design, complete with spikes.

The most memorable rings

G Flip was one of the biggest stars of the night, taking home two ARIA awards. Conveying an edgy look, the artist kicked- off the night on the red carpet with her wife Chrishell Stause in a floor-length black vest ensemble.

To complete the grunge aesthetic, the singer wore an array of dress rings. This included thick bands with graphics which enhanced their overall style for the night.

Brooke Boney looked elegant as ever on this year’s red carpet. As one of the hosts for the big event, she donned a silk gown inspired by a vintage design worn by Australian darling, Kylie Minogue. The Today Show reporter completed her goddess look by pairing it with a sophisticated range of diamond jewellery, including a dazzling mix of diamond rings

The most memorable earrings

Chrishell Stause hit the red carpet alongside her partner, G Flip. The luxury real estate agent looked absolutely radiant in a pale pink corset top and matching high-slit skirt. Adding a touch of luxury all over, Chrishell wore a glamorous selection of jewellery, including a pair of diamond drop earrings. Displaying the figure of a diamond, the white diamond-encrusted earrings were a beautiful standout that only enhanced the Selling Sunset star’s look.

Millie Ford took to the red carpet in fun, colourful attire. Donning a pink corset, cream shorts and a bright orange handbag, the influencer looked very stylish as she took to the event’s red carpet. The TikTok star also selected a range of trendy jewellery, most notably, her thick yellow gold hoop earrings.
